Our Staff

LEAD PASTOR

Pastor EK is the lead pastor of Vessel English Ministry. He graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with a Master of Divinity.

He enjoys basketball, food, and board games. He is happily married to his wife Miwah and they have a son Gideon.

DEACON

Deacon Hyon grew up in our church and has been a valuable member of the community ever since. Currently, he oversees our church’s finance office. He and his wife, Sophia, have two sons (Andrew & Matthew).

You can chop it up with him about his underperforming fantasy football team or any of the Las Vegas pro sports teams.

DEACON

Deacon John also grew up in our church and has been a pillar in our EM. Currently, he oversees setup on Sundays and teaches bible study in the children’s ministry.

John and his wife, Taeyeon, have two daughters and a son (Joy, Jocelyn, John). John also loves talking about his underperforming fantasy football team.

WORSHIP DEACON

Deacon Ernie is the worship team director at FG West and he also grew up in our church. He is passionate about using his musical gifts to serve the Lord and you can see his passion as he plays the drums (and sometimes keyboard) on Sundays.

He and his wife, Nahyun, have their hands full with three boys (Aiden, Mason, Evan).

DEACON

Deacon Taeyeon serves along her husband John in making sure that everything is setup and good to go for Sundays. She also oversees the pre-school children at FG West.

In her free time and she can rip it on soprano sax.

DEACON

Deaconess Choonhee has been a long-time member of our church and a strong advocate of our EM. She is versatile in that she often serves both the KM and our EM. Her home-cooked meals are unmatched and such a blessing to our community.

She is married to her husband, Pete, and they are proud grandparents to two beautiful grandchildren.

Deacon Steve has been a supporting presence in our community and he’s always willing to help wherever there’s a need.

Steve and his wife, Chloe, have a son and a daughter (Aiden & Alyssa).

COLLEGE GROUP LEADER

Anthony helps the lead the college group as a recent grad of UNLV in Kinesiology. In his free time he enjoys playing basketball and running.

Anthony also helps serve the youth group (7-12th grade).

COLLEG GROUP LEADER

Eric moved to Las Vegas from California just like half of Las Vegas. He enjoys watching and playing sports as well as spending time hiking and biking around the valley.

Eric also graduated from UNLV with a degree in Data Analytics.

MINISTRY LEADER

Miwah serves across various ministries. She grew up attending Full Gospel and graduated from University of Washington in Speech-Language Pathology.

She is married to Pastor EK and they have a newborn son named Gideon.
