As lead pastor of FG West, John Hong is committed to cultivating healthy relationships and addressing healing in the families. Before entering full-time ministry, he was a public school teacher and administrator in Washington State. As an advocate for school and home partnership, he was an active voice in his community. He is now focused on fostering a welcoming church conducive to spiritual growth for the whole family.
He is married to his wife Klare who serves the Sunday school at FG West. They have an 8 year old son Isaac who can be found playing with other kids at church on Sundays. Originally, from Koreatown in Los Angeles, California, Pastor John received a Master of Divinity from Fuller Seminary.
Eun Kwang (EK) Ko
Pastor Eun Kwang Ko (“EK”) is the pastor of Lighthouse Youth Group at Full Gospel Las Vegas Church and the worship pastor at FG West. He is a Las Vegas native and a homegrown product of the church. He completed his undergraduate studies at Wheaton College (IL) in 2009 with a BA in Sociology and a minor in Christian Education. In 2014, he graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL with a Master of Divinity. After spending five years in the Chicago area, he moved back to Las Vegas in the summer of 2015 to serve as the new youth pastor.
Pastor EK is happily married to his wife, Miwah Ko, who is currently working in the Clark County School District as a speech therapist. While he enjoys basketball, food, and board games, his passion is to raise up the next generation of Christ’s disciples and to sow into the Korean American church context..
Pastor Daniel Lee is the college pastor at FG West and is invested into empowering college students to be filled with the Spirit in one of the most formational times in their lives. He grew up in Las Vegas, attending Full Gospel Las Vegas Church where he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He began his full time ministry as a youth pastor at Lord’s Glory Church in Spokane, WA.
Pastor Daniel received a Bachelor’s of Biblical Exposition from Moody Bible Institute Spokane and a teaching certificate from Gonzaga University. He is currently finishing his Master’s of Education in English with an emphasis in bilingual education. He hopes to use this master’s degree not only for missions, but also to cultivate our multicultural youth by tapping into the unity and unique potential that they possess.
